Prestressed

By stressing reinforcing steel rods (rebar) before enveloping it concrete, the structure is better able to resist stresses in the opposite direction.

Large flat bed trailers with prestressed chassis have their decking and beams bowed upwards so that the load presses them down flat rather than into a weak downward bow.
